This photograph looks as if it was taken in the far outback. In fact, the original negative was taken in December 2000 near the border between Oxfordshire and Berkshire. In 2002 I decided to play with the image. The image has been desaturated (not completely) to give an antique feel. The faded edges add to the effect.
